Our Team

Kim
Kim can usually be seen running around the hospital making sure that everything is running smoothly. She started in our hospital in 1981 as an animal care assistant and was eventually moved into the position of office manager several years later. She manages the hospital operations on a day-to-day basis, as well as bookkeeping, maintaining the hospital supplies and keeping the staff up-to-date on new information for the hospital. She shares her home with 4 crazy cats who run her life.

Michelle
Michelle joined our practice early in the year and has become our Human Resources Manager, a role that she has many years of experience with. She has worked in veterinary hospitals for a long time, and was happy to find her way back into the field recently.

Debbie
Debbie has been our efficient supervising receptionist since 1972. With her experience she is able to bestow a calming effect on our reception area when emergencies and other activities become overwhelming. Her familiar face has often been a comfort to clients in every situation that may arise.

Sylvia
Sylvia is a registered animal health technologist who graduated in 1983 from St. Clair’s College in Ontario and came to work with us soon after. Her care and compassion for the pets in the hospital is surpassed by none. She has a special “knack” for making our patients feel as comfortable as possible during their visits to our clinic. Most clients believe that she is the reason their pets come home happy and well.

Kayla
Kayla joined our team in May of 2010. Kayla is involved in flyball and agility training with her dog and has a special interest in nutrition and behavior.

Cherie Cherie joined our team in April, 2010 and brings several years of experience along for the ride. She's always ready to jump into every situation and help out wherever she is needed.

Becky Becky joined our team in May 2008. She has taken on the "team leader" role among the technicians. She enjoys fostering abandoned pets and helping them into new homes. She has recently added a lovely little cat to her household!

KENNEL ATTENDANTS
Deborah & Renee
These wonderful ladies are responsible for ensuring that all of our furry friends in the hospital are clean, comfortable and happy. They run around during the busy mornings, helping the technologists look after the patients in our care. They also makes sure that the clinic is spotless and all of the supplies are well-stocked. They can often be seen petting or cuddling concerned pets to help make them feel better while they are in our care.

RECEPTIONISTS
Jacqueline
Jacqueline has been helping greet clients at our front desk since 2007. She enjoys interacting with the clients and their pets when they arrive, and goes out of her way to make sure that their needs are looked after. She shares her home with several crazy kitties and one husband!

Raina
Raina joined our reception desk in the spring and has quickly learned how busy a place that it can be.

Jessica
Jessica has joined our team in a reception position in March of 2009. She quickly learned the ropes and is enjoying the clients and their furry friends. She is expecting her first human baby in the spring!
